Village/Feathers/Week 4

Dear Village Parent:

Last week’s message encouraged exploration with sound in order to increase spatial reasoning. Spatial intelligence helps one to understand how things relate in space and time. It is the ability to visualize the world accurately, to form mental images of physical objects, and to recognize variations of objects. This ability is crucial for higher brain functions including math and engineering skills.

By providing gentle and thoughtful exposure to music, movement, and social interaction, you are helping form your child’s ability to reason in complex ways. Amazing, isn’t it?
