Village/Do-Si-Do/Week 3

Dear Village Parent:

Did you know that research shows that the sights, sounds, and smells of the environment are perceived by and important to the youngest of babies? That is why the Village program includes music and materials appropriate for children from infancy up. Gentle chanting (“Pig Jig”), baby books (This is my dance.), baby-safe and quiet jingling bells, and scarves all provide appropriate sensory stimulation for each and every one of our Village babies. Enjoy your little one’s favorite Village activities and songs at home, and don’t forget your new clackers!
